About Opportunity

BTCV Scotland offers an exciting opportunity to gain a wealth of valuable experience and training as well as join the BTCV Scotland team as one of our Conservation Volunteers and learn practical conservation. Each office runs a programme of practical conservation projects, which run throughout the year. These involve undertaking a variety of tasks with the aim of increasing biodiversity and improving access to the countryside. These tasks could include tree planting, vegetation clearance etc.

Training and Induction Details

Leaders will provide volunteers with a brief induction and information about our organisation. Training is provided on site each day and varies depending on the project to be completed.

Expenses Detail

Use of public transport is encouraged and full cost reimbursed. Car mileage is paid at 10p per mile up to a max of £5 per journey.
