About Opportunity

Active Schools offers year round volunteering opportunities for sport and physical activity during extra-curricular time (before school, lunchtime, after school and weekends). As well as netball, dance, dodgeball, badminton, walking, jump rope/skipping and minifit clubs, they cover 40 sports across the area so there is something for everyone’s sports interest. There are also one-off activities throughout the year including dance festivals, golf and mountain biking. New activities can also be introduced dependent on the skills and interests of volunteers.
