About Opportunity
EDC supports health walks for local residents ranging from 15 mins upwards taking place on defined paths in area. Walk leaders will lead the walk, gather info, perform risk assessments and assist with route selection. Walk leaders receive training through partnership with Paths For All. Walkers range from those who would benefit from additional exercise to those referred from GPs and hospitals as part of their recuperation.

About EDC Paths for All
This is a parternship between ED Council, Healthy Habits and Paths for All. Organisations provide walking project in East Dunbartonshire to encourage people to increase levels of activity.
Skills & Experience
Volunteers need good communication and organisational skills, be good at working with people, be approachable, relaxed and comfortable in a group. Enjoy outdoor activities and walking.
Travel Details
Various locations throughout Kirkintilloch, Milngavie, Lenzie, Twechar and Bishopbriggs.
