Someone who has knowledge/experience of Health & Safety required to assist the General Manager in the day-to-day aspects of Health & Safety. To help set up systems, update policies, put good Health & Safety procedures into practice.

About Wiston Lodge
Wiston Lodge is a former Victorian Hunting Lodge set in 52 acres of ground at the foot of Tinto Hill in the village of Wiston near Biggar. We provide residential and day programmes for groups of young people and adults at risk. We do this by using Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED) delivered using Outdoor Adventure Activities, Environmental Education, Music & Arts. Wiston Lodge is also a venue for training, conferences and self programming groups.
Skills & Experience
Must have experience/knowledge of Health & Safety, be IT literate and have knowledge of database and office systems. Must be able to work without supervision and also as part of a team.
Travel Details
Wiston Lodge, Millrigg Road, Wiston, Biggar, ML12 6HT. No. 30 from Lanark to Wanlochhead (10min walk to Lodge) or No. 100, 101 or 102 from Biggar (15min walk to Lodge). Arrangement can be made for pick up at the end of the road if required.

Training and Induction Details
Taken through induction on first day and will cover Health and Safety, and info on who Wiston Lodge. Also training on First Aid, Group Bonding, Activity Based Training and individual personal development training will be available to volunteers.
