About Opportunity
Despite advances in the fight against heart disease, many as a result of the work of BHF Scotland, there is still much more to be done. Everyday our volunteers are helping to raise vital funds and awareness within local communities across Scotland. BHF Scotland volunteers are involved in many ways including fundraising within schools, organising events, collecting, and helping us raise awareness by speaking to groups and supporters. Quite simply without volunteers like you we will not be able to continue our pioneering work – saving and improving lives. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth running and effective operation of a BHF Scotland fundraising branch. There are fundraising branches across Scotland, and they are a valued part of the charity’s volunteer network. Specific responsibilities of this role will include: -Helping with the smooth running of branch activities -Notifying Branch members of meetings and events -Taking notes or minutes of Branch meetings and ensuring that these are circulated to members and to your local BHF Scotland office. -Being a point of contact for the branch, and replying to correspondence that is received. -Helping with other Branch activities and fundraising events. A great opportunity to help and make a real positive difference. Any help you give will be greatly appreciated.
