About Opportunity
Heart helpers support the charity in so many ways at a local level. Being a Heart Helper could include: • Being a local contact for BHF Scotland, for instance picking up donations or helping to promote the charity by giving out information we provide • Collecting donations at a supermarket or on the street • Volunteering at local fundraising events • Helping with paperwork or research • Getting involved in fundraising for National Heart Month in February • Joining a local fundraising group or branch Heart Helpers can be involved in a whole range of activities, whatever you choose will be helping to beat heart disease locally.

About British Heart Foundation - Fundraising

No specific experience is required for many activities, and full training/support will be provided. An interest in helping to beat heart disease is vital.
Travel Details
This opportunity takes place in Cupar and East Fife. Some travel will be required in and around the town and possibly other areas in Fife.

Training and Induction Details
You will be joining with a community of thousands of other volunteers who are supporting the charity at a local level. You will have a dedicated contact person either in your regional office, or a staff member or volunteer in your local community.

Expenses Detail
Mileage expenses are paid at 25pence per mile. We will also re-imburse other travel expenses (eg public transport) and other expenses as is deemed appropriate. Expenses are paid on a monthly basis after completion of an expenses claim form.
