About Opportunity
You will be leading and co-ordinating a group of other volunteers raising vital funs and building local support in your area. As the Group Leader you will be the key point of contact between the BHF Scotland and your group. The Fundraising Group could be involved in: • Organising and carrying out fundraising events and activities • Being part of National Heart Month in February, a key opportunity to raise awareness and funds • Involving friends, family and other supporters in fundraising for the charity • Contacting local businesses and groups (eg Rotary Clubs, Round Table etc) to ask for their support • Representing BHF Scotland in your area, for example, collecting cheques or giving presentations

Skills & Experience
Be friendly and outgoing. Have a good network of local contacts such as workplaces, local groups and people. Be a good organiser and communicator. Use of a car would be beneficial, but not essential.
Travel Details
This opportunity takes place in Cupar and East Fife. Some travel will be required to meet up with the group on a regular basis.

Training and Induction Details
You will work closely with your local Fundraising Volunteer Manager and your local BHF Scotland Office. You will also work with any other local contacts and volunteers in your area.

Expenses Detail
Mileage expenses are paid at 25pence per mile. We will also re-imburse other travel expenses (eg public transport) and other expenses as is deemed appropriate. Expenses are paid on a monthly basis after completion of an expenses claim form.

Frequency & Commitment
This role can be very flexible. The time commitment will vary depending on the time of year and what the group is up. On average, around 1 – 2 days per month.
