About Opportunity
Most of our clients suffer from dementia of one sort or another but many of them have led extremely interesting lives which we feel should not go unrecorded. We are looking for someone who would be willing to come into the centre to interview our clients about their lives and reminiscences, to write up their stories and reproduce in booklet form. Access to computers, copiers etc. will be available if needed. An enhanced disclosure will be required.

We offer day care services to older people throughout Dundee. We offer a secure and happy environment for the clients where nutritious meals, various activities, companionship and support are offered. The main objective is to support the clients increasing their independent living.
Skills & Experience
Good writing skills and an interest in oral history. Patience. Knowledge of Dundee and ability to understand local accent would be helpful.
