About Opportunity
This volunteering opportunity will allow you to teach our residents how to use the computer to contact family both near and far. Some of our residents have family in Australia, Spain and the Far East, as well as not so far away in England. You skills will enable some of our residents to not only e-mail family and friends, but will assist them to ‘talk’ with them. We believe that no one is ever too old to learn new skills and with your assistance, our residents will learn new skills and have fun in the process. Our residents will need your help in setting up the computer and also advise our residents the best interest connection to use. Your input would also be appreciated in the many programmes available on the computer – for example writing letters, designing and printing posters.
