The Scottish Birdfair 2013
When We Need You
From 11/05/2013 to 12/05/2013
The Scottish Birdfair has something for everyone – from the most dedicated birders, to garden birdwatchers and those with a more general interest in wildlife.
The event will take place on the 11th and 12th May, 2013, from 9am-5.30pm both days. There will be entertainment and food until 10pm on Saturday evening. The fair is held on the west lawn of the striking Hopetoun House, near Edinburgh. Over 5000 visitors will have the chance to shop from over 80 wildlife related trade stands – you can get your hands on the latest birding technology, holidays, optics, literature, art work and much more.
Throughout each day there will be a wide range of fun packed children’s activities, guided walks, informative talks, and special workshops, with live entertainment on Saturday evening. There will also be plenty to entertain the taste buds too with excellent locally sourced foods, not to mention the opportunity to sample some of Scotland's finest whisky and beer!

The RSPB speaks out for birds and wildlife, tackling the problems that threaten our environment. Nature is amazing – help us keep it that way.
Volunteers are an essential part of the RSPB and at the heart of what we do and achieve, without their help, our work would be greatly diminished.
They take part in all aspects of our work from assisting in our tearooms, shops and visitor centres and fundraising for us to surveying seabirds, farmland birds and wildlife.
