Volunteer Regional Chair - North East Region

Cruse Bereavement Care Scotland is currently looking for a volunteer Regional Chair Person for the North East Region serving our Aberdeen and Deveron teams. We are seeking an individual who has a background in senior management and has excellent people skills who could provide strong leadership, support and organisational skills as the Chair. Developing an understanding of the full range of activities and responsibilities of the regions' volunteers and admin staff would also be required.
A detailed role description is available but the key tasks include: chairing regional management committee meetings; supporting regional staff members as first point of contact; representing the region at national meetings; participating in discussions with actual and potential funders.
Experience of working in counselling and /or fields of health and social care would be useful but not a requirement.
