I have, for the past month, been volunteering with Epilepsy Scotland.
I have been going to the Glasgow office every Tuesday from 9 - 5 and I have loved every minute of it.
The fundraising department came up with the idea of having an Epilepsy Scotland Running Team, whereby those who join can do so for free and for 12 weeks get free training with a coach and a personal trainer. At the end of the 12 weeks they will run The Great Scottish Run for the charity.
I have been given tasks such as sourcing a prize, writing press releases and web updates, contacting potential runners.
I have my last day on Tuesday and will be very sorry to leave. I have loved every minute of it and cannot wait until I can hopefully volunteer somewhere else!
